Effective date: November 6, 2026
This policy explains how the CW Morse app for iPhone and iPad (“the app”), made by OXiGENATOR (“we”, “us”), handles your information. In short: the app does not collect personal data.
Microphone and audio
The app asks for access to the microphone (or the audio input you connect) so it can decode Morse code. Audio is processed on your device, in memory, as it arrives. It is never recorded, stored or sent to us or anyone else. The app works fully offline.
Decoded text
The text the app decodes stays on your device. It leaves the device only when you choose to copy it or share it, for example to Messages or Notes, through the standard iOS share sheet.
Settings
Your preferences, such as manual tone, speed, squelch and filter settings, are stored on your device. If you use iCloud, iOS may include them in your device backup, under Apple’s privacy policy.
Purchases
The in-app purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment details or Apple ID. The app only checks with the App Store whether the unlock has been purchased, including through Family Sharing.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking, and it does not share data with data brokers. Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous App Store statistics and crash reports from users who chose to share them with developers in iOS settings.
Support requests
If you contact us by email or through the support form on our website, we receive the information you send, such as your name, email address and message. We use it only to answer you and keep it no longer than needed for that. Form submissions are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google’s privacy policy.
Children
The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Because the app does not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you’ve contacted us and want us to delete your messages, write to [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update it on this page and change the effective date above.
